Essex IQ is an Essex County-based nonprofit organization dedicated to providing quality education in programming and robotics for zero charge. Our annual summer programs for rising 6th, 7th, and 8th graders give students the opportunity to build, program, and compete with their very own robots! You can find our upcoming classes as well as archived ones in the Sessions tab of the navbar.
Essex IQ is designed from the ground up with our students in mind. In addition to our lead instructors, we have dozens of high school mentors between our two locations, so each of our students receives thoughtful and personalized instruction. Our curriculum is also built to allow students to work at their own pace while still learning the necessary skills and knowledge to participate in our final competition.
