Essex IQ is ready to start summer 2024 with lots of fun and learning for kids! Our program, available at Payne Tech and West Caldwell Institute of Technology, engages kids with interactive activities and hands-on projects. We’ll dive into robotics using VEX IQ, a game-based tool that boosts creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork. Kids will build and program their own robots, competing in exciting challenges. Besides robotics, our curriculum includes fun topics like coding, digital design, and basic engineering, all designed to spark curiosity and excitement. Come join Essex IQ for a summer full of innovation, teamwork, and endless fun!

Highlights:

• Usage of the VEX IQ build system to design and build functional robots
• Usage of the VEXcode IQ block coding studio to develop programs for the robots
• Fun competitions and challenges each week!

• The program will run for three weeks: 7/1/24 - 7/19/24, Monday through Friday
• Classes run from 9 AM to 2:30 PM Monday through Thursday, and from 9 AM to 1:30 PM on Fridays
• Complimentary lunch will be provided to all students
